This is where your journey begins.  If you are struggling to care for or find care for your pets due to hard circumstances, we want to help you. All of these services are free to very low income (earn 30%  or less of the median income) individuals and families, including those without homes.

We also offer our services on a sliding scale for those who do not qualify. We are devoted to  keeping animals out of the shelters and with their people. If any of these services are what you are looking for, please fill out a Temporary Foster Application under the heading 'Contracts and Forms', and we will be in touch.  Good luck to you and your animal companions, we are here for you every step of the way.

If you are applying for free services, you MUST have a case worker or access to your Oregon One Account. Having OHP or a SNAP card is no longer acceptable as verification. Please put your case worker's information on your application and ask them to reach out to us on your behalf.

Array Crisis Fostering does NOT accept surrendered, rehomed, stray, or feral animals.

For those wanting to get off the streets

If you are ready to take that brave but difficult step towards a better life for yourself through recovery or transitional housing but have been told that you cannot bring your pet with you, we will foster your animal for up to 3 months

Domestic Violence

If you are trying to flee a domestic violence situation and fear for your pets safety if you leave, we can foster for up to 3 months. We can meet you anytime of day or night, wherever you need.

Sudden Crisis

If you are facing a sudden hospitalization or sudden incarceration, where you have no time to find a suitable caregiver for your pet, we can pick up and foster for up to 3 months. If needed, we can retrieve your animals from your home or care for them in your home, allowing them to stay where they are comfortable (see in-home care).

Bebe was our first in home client.

We now do in-home care!

We are now offering in-home care for your pets, if there are no other options. If you are faced with having to surrender your pet to the shelter because we do not have any available fosters and you have no one to help you, we can check in on your pet at your home. We will feed, walk (if applicable), and spend some time with them twice per day for dogs and once per day for cats, up to 2 weeks for dogs and 2 months for cats. Please fill out the form labeled "In Home Care Application".
